Nala Resort opened as Mission Beach's first adults-only five-star resort with no prior marketing presence. YKC Agency was brought in to build the digital foundation and drive awareness.
Over five weeks, we established the brand's social identity across Instagram and Facebook, defined content pillars around the resort's key experiences (pool, restaurant, rooms, and surrounding landscape), and produced 26 video and static assets including vertical room tours, restaurant content, and lifestyle imagery.
The results from organic content alone: Instagram followers grew 523% (61 to 380), Facebook grew 113% (323 to 690), and the reach-to-follower ratio hit 189% on Instagram, well above the 20-40% benchmark for new hospitality brands. The top-performing Facebook post reached 8,205 unique viewers from a base of 690 followers. Video content consistently reached beyond the existing audience, signalling strong algorithmic discovery.
Scope included strategy, content pillars and calendar, shoot planning and direction, video production and editing, Instagram grid design, and performance reporting with benchmarking against hospitality industry norms.
